Message from Director

The previous “Travel in National Parks” Presented the wonder of the tropical rainforest in Namtok Yong National Park, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province. Therefore, in this issue, we slightly go up north to present the stories about Mu Ko Chumphon National Park, a combination of mangrove forest and the open-sea in the Gulf of Thailand so that you will know more about it. The period between October – November is special for migratory bird watching. For those who are looking for a place for relaxation and getting new experiences, it would be suggested that Mu Ko Chumphon National Park is Prettily fascinating.

The other issue that I would like to take this opportunity to inform you is the celebration of “the 50th Anniversary of Thai National Park” which will be arranged by the Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conversation (DNP). It is an auspicious occasion of Thailand’s National Parks Administration, for 50 years, since the National Park Act B.R.2504 was enacted on 22^nd September 1961.
